TROPHY CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The care that you give your trophy has a direct effect on the finished product. The following are tips that will help produce the best mount possible.
Try to freeze or cool your trophy as soon as possible. Heat is your biggest enemy!
DO NOT SALT the hide unless you do not have access to a freezer or ice.
If you must salt, use a fine grade cattle salt or table salt.
DO NOT CUT THE THROAT!
For birds, tuck the head under a wing and freeze it in plastic.
For fish, freeze in plastic. ( You may wrap cardboard around tail to help protect fins. )
If a freezer is not available - DO NOT PUT IN PLASTIC.
